HAIRraising appeal launches
The biggest names in British hairdressing have got together to launch HAIRraising, a new fundraising appeal that invites the hairdressing community to come together to help raise £1 million towards new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

On Sunday 18 October, John Frieda was joined by the leading lights of the hair industry to launch HAIRraising, a new fundraising appeal that invites the hairdressing community to come together to help raise £1 million towards new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The operating theatres will be used to help children from all over the UK who require specialist neurosurgery.

Today is a very proud moment for me - I am truly touched that so many of my fellow hairdressers have agreed to pull together with me so that we can help sick kids from across the UK get better.

Having visited Great Ormond Street Hospital, I have seen firsthand how much our support is needed. The neurosurgery team does fantastic work but with our help could treat up to 20 per cent more children – that’s got to be worth aiming for.
