Get ready for the return of the layed featered cut
According to Grazia, the layered feather cut (aka the Shag) is going to become the Next Big Thing as soon as girls see how flattering it is on Kristin Stewart as Joan Jett in the movie.

First seen in the 1970s, it fell out of favour gradually as most trends do (remember the Rachel from the '90s?).

However, Grazia thinks the feathered layer cut is ready for a comeback this summer. The updated version for 2010 will still feature face-flattering layers, but it will also be glossier, more controlled and less fluffy than its predecessor.

"Boy, does that style enhance your cheekbones [and] highlight your eyes … trust us, this hairdo is going to happen," the mag's beauty gurus insisted.

How exciting! If you've already resolved to have this hairdo as soon as it 'hits', then you could get ready by investing in some styling products.

Milkshake or milk_shake as they say texturizing paste will be perfect for creating texture with flexible hold - plus we think it sounds like a fitting product for a revival of the hippyish 1970s!
